    Found in Leith River Walkway, Dunedin.
    Saturday 8th December, 2018 in the afternoon.

    Hi Polly - this is not an orchid but is the introduced Orobanche minor - see http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=3226
