Substrate details
Saxicolous and calcicolous on marble, limestone and concrete. Usually montane to alpine but has occasionally been colelcted from lowland sites within concrete footpaths and driveways.

bryum: From the Greek word bryon meaning ‘lichen’ or ‘moss’.
