The group includes kanuka (Kunzea ericoides), manuka (Leptospermum scoparium), a number of endangered species (Kunzea sinclairii, Metrosideros bartlettii, Metrosideros kermadecensis), as well as the more common pohutukawa, rata, and several species of climbing rata.
