The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NZPCN is to be held during our 2026 conference in Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington. The AGM will be at 12.55 PM on Wednesday 14th October in the Mākaro room of Te Wharewaka Function Centre.
Please find the following documents at the links below (note, only logged in members have access):
At the AGM we elect the officers of our society. This includes our president, secretary, treasurer and up to six other officers. In 2022 the Incorporated Societies Act was updated and subsequently the NZPCN updated its constitution to align with the new Act. One upshot of these updates is that nominations to be an officer must be made in writing and be accompanied by the prescribed Officer Consent Form. We partially implemented this for the 2025 AGM when we asked council officer nominees to tell us a little bit about themselves, we assembled these short biographies into a dossier of society nomination which was available online for all members in advance of the AGM. We will follow a similar process for the 2026 AGM.
All potential (new or standing) society officers need to be nominated. Please do not nominate anyone without obtaining their consent first.
Nominations require three things:
- A completed NZPCN officer nomination form 2026
- An email from the nominee with their details, this should include
- Your name
- The officer position you are standing for
- A brief overview of who you are
- A brief description of why you want to be in the position
- A completed Consent and certificate of officer form (completed by the nominee)
The three documents above should be sent to the NZPCN Secretary ([Enable JavaScript to view protected content]) by the 8th of October 2026. If enough nominations are received by October 8th, nominations will close, if not enough nominations are received by October 8th, nominations will remain open until the AGM.
The nominees details will be used to make a dossier that we will share online with the NZPCN membership on this AGM page.
If you have any questions regarding the AGM please get in touch ([Enable JavaScript to view protected content]).
