Improving provenance tracking in native plant production
Jake Linklater is competing in the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition representing the nursery industry. For his innovation project he is focusing on improving provenance tracking in native plant production. To help guide this work, he is gathering insights from across Aotearoa New Zealand on how provenance (seed and propagation sourcing) is currently recorded, shared, and if challenges exist.
There are two surveys to complete - one for nurseries and one for those purchasing plants or making management decisions for planting projects. Each survey only takes a couple of minutes - please consider taking a moment and sharing your insights with Jake.
