Description

This version of the NZPCN Constitution, as required by changes to the Incorporated Socities Act 2022, is the culmination of nine months of ongoing revision, following consideration and review of a range of documents, including the original (current) constitution, the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and various online guidelines and constitution builder templates. The review was carried out by the NZPCN Council, either in full or in part at various times, with assistance from some of the NZPCN kaiāwhina. In July, a draft version was reviewed by Parry Field Lawyers of Christchurch, a law firm with considerable experience in this field. Further work on the constitution has been carried out since and the NZPCN Council is confident now that this is a sound document to take the organisation into the future.

This new constitution will be presented and voted on at the 2025 NZPCN AGM, being held online on Monday 13 October at 7.00pm.
